Which Destinations Can We Travel Without Having To Quarantine?
After months of travel restrictions and the suspension of international flights, some countries announced they will ease travel restrictions to allow for tourists’ entrance without quarantine under some terms and conditions. On the other hand, many other countries have imposed either international flight suspensions or quarantine rules for visitors. The good news is that anyone traveling to a country on the green list of their government will not need to self-isolate when they return home. But we also need to check the green list of our government.

Greece
Greece offers something for everyone — from the archaeological wonders of ancient Athens to sugar-cube hotels on both its famed and lesser-known islands. As of May 14th, 2021, travelers arriving in Greece are required to have either a negative PCR certificate from a testing laboratory, for a Covid-19 test taken no later than 72 hours before arrival or a negative antigen (rapid) certificate taken no longer than 48 hours before arrival. This test is mandatory for all tourists (including children over the age of 12), regardless of the epidemiological situation in the country of departure. Proof of a negative test is not required, however, for all travelers that have completed their vaccination (i.e., 14 days have elapsed since the last vaccination, depending on the doses required) and hold a vaccination certificate.
Proof of a negative PCR test is not required if the traveler was tested positive with COVID-19 in the past 30 to 180 days. This can be proved either by presenting a positive PCR molecular or an antigen test result performed by an authorized laboratory or a medical certificate confirming that the holder was tested positive with SARS-CoV-2 virus infection. The certificate is issued 30 days after the day of the first positive COVID-19 test and is valid for 180 days after it.
Important clarification: Every traveler who arrives in Greece, regardless of the certificate in their possession, may undergo a random health screening. If you are selected, please keep in mind that the screening is mandatory. In case of refusal, authorities reserve the right to refuse entry into the country.
Egypt
Egypt offers four types of tourism, Archeological tourism, Leisure tourism, Religious tourism, and medical tourism.
The Egyptian government is now issuing visas. Visitors from eligible countries should apply for an Egypt eVisa online to enter the country. Visitors traveling to Egypt during the pandemic must present a printed negative PCR test certificate on arrival. The test must be based on a nasal or oral swab and the certificate issued by an approved laboratory. Certificates are accepted in Arabic or English. The coronavirus test medical certificate has to be issued no more than 72 hours before the flight to Egypt. However, when arriving from Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, France (Paris), Germany (Frankfurt), Guyana, Italy (Rome), Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Thailand, the USA, the UK (London Heathrow), Uruguay, or Venezuela, the test and certificate extends to 96 hours. Wearing face masks is required in enclosed public places and on public transport. Passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate stating full vaccination at least 14 days before travel are exempt from testing. Children under the age of 6 are also exempt from this entry requirement.
Passengers who arrive from any of the following countries are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival in Egypt: Argentina, Bangladesh, Belize, Bhutan, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, India, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela, or Vietnam.

Albania
The nature in Albania is phenomenal, including mountain ranges, rivers, lakes, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Albania is open for travel from all countries, and most domestic restrictions have been lifted. All arrivals in Albania will be required to present a negative PCR test, no older than 72 hours, or a negative antigen test no older than 48 hours before departing. Anyone arriving in Albania without a negative covid test or proof of vaccination will be required to self-isolate for 10-days. Restaurants, bars, and cafes in Albania are open outside of curfew hours. Wearing face masks is required in enclosed public places.

Turkey
Turkey is a great destination for tourism & open for tourism, Passengers over the age of 12 must have a document showing a negative COVID-19 test result to enter Turkey either: PCR test taken in the last 72 hours or Rapid antigen test taken in the last 48 hours.
Fully vaccinated and recovered patients are exempt if they can provide either: Vaccination certificate showing the last dose was given at least 14 days before arrival, or a medical certificate showing recovery in the last 6 months.
Passengers, excluding nationals from the UK, Egypt, Singapore, and Iran, are subject to PCR testing on the basis of sampling at arrival. These passengers will be able to continue their journey after the test samples are taken. However, If the test results are positive, they will be treated in accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines of the Ministry of Health. Passengers entering Turkey from the United Kingdom, Iran, Egypt, and Singapore must present a negative PCR test result taken in the last 72 hours prior to arrival to Turkey.
Hungarian, Serbian, and Turkish citizens with a vaccination certificate stating that they were vaccinated in their home country can enter without a PCR test. Serbian and Turkish nationals under the age of 18 accompanied by citizens of Serbia or Turkey with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate are also exempt.
RULES FOR ENTERING TURKEY FROM HIGH-RISK COUNTRIES:
Flights from Bangladesh, Brazil, Nepal, South Africa, and Sri Lanka are suspended. Until September 30th, passengers who in the last 14 days have been in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, India, Nepal, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, must submit a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival. Furthermore, they have to quarantine at designated locations. However, children under 12 years of age are exempt.
Turkey quarantine rules:
Travelers arriving from countries considered high-risk, or who have been to high-risk countries in the last 14 days, are required to quarantine in Turkey: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, South Africa, or Sri Lanka quarantine for 14 days, test to release on day 14 Quarantine is carried out at accommodation facilities determined by the Turkish government. As mentioned above, PCR tests are carried out on a random sample of passengers on arrival. In case of a positive test result, they will be contacted and instructed to quarantine for 14 days.
Complete a Traveler Entry Form before arrival:
All incoming passengers over the age of 6 must complete a “Traveler Entry Form” at least four days before their arrival in Turkey. Children under 6 are exempt. The purpose of the form is to contact individuals who have been in contact with someone who later tested positive for COVID-19. Visitors should provide contact information and the accommodation address in Turkey. The “Form for Entry to Turkey” must be completed online and takes a few minutes. All passengers need to present it before boarding a flight to Turkey and again on arrival. Please note that it is not possible to transit through Adana until further notice.

Lebanon
Lebanon has Leisure attractions, cultural and religious heritage.
For all passengers arriving in Lebanon as a final destination except children under the age of 12 years must hold the PCR negative test result with QR code from one of the certified laboratories at point of departure and present upon check-in.
Negative test result validity must not exceed 96 hours between the test result and the date of arrival to Lebanon. Passengers who do not carry a negative PCR test result with a QR code are not allowed to board. Except the PCR tests issued from the following countries are accepted without QR code: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, and all European countries. All passengers arriving in Lebanon, except children under the age of 12 years and UNIFIL, shall undergo a PCR test upon arrival at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport.
Exemptions from mandatory PCR test prior arrival:
Passengers who have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine or a complete dose of the Covid-19 vaccine (which is formed of one dose) minimum 2 weeks before their departure to Lebanon. Passengers who were infected and cured of Covid-19 within 90 days before their departure date after showing an official document confirming that. Passengers who traveled out of Lebanon, and will return within one week (traveled during one day of the week and will return on the same day during the following week).
Montenegro
Montenegro is a beautiful country for tourism, remote work & destination for all seasons of the year.
All vaccinated arrivals: Travelers who present a valid international certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from testing requirements. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure.
Unvaccinated arrivals: Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided on arrival. Alternatively, travelers can provide a negative rapid antigen test taken within 48 hours of arrival.
Those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from testing requirements if they provide proof of a positive PCR test, taken at least 14 days before departure and not more than 180 days, on arrival.
Residents can enter without health documentation but will be required to self-isolate for 14 days. This period can be shortened if a PCR test is taken on day 6 and a negative result is confirmed. Passengers arriving from India are subject to quarantine for 14 days.
Moldova
Moldova’s agricultural and picturesque countryside proposes various services for tourists wishing to stay in the middle of nature.
All vaccinated arrivals: presentation of the vaccination certificate against COVID-19 virus with the complete vaccination schedule. Proof of immunization is valid if at least 14 days have elapsed since the completion of the vaccination schedule.
Unvaccinated arrivals: presentation of the negative result of an RT-PCR test for COVID-19 virus infection not older than 72 hours or the certified negative result of a rapid antigen test for COVID-19 virus infection not older than 48 hours before boarding, for persons traveling by public transport, or before entering the territory of the Republic of Moldova, for persons traveling by their own means of transport. Confirmation must be submitted in one of the languages Romanian, English, French, German, Italian or Russian.
Alternatively, those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from testing requirements and may provide proof of a positive antibodies test, taken at least 15 days before departure and not more than 90 days, of departure. Those arriving without health documentation will be required to fill the epidemiological file and self-isolate for 14 days. This period may be shortened if a PCR or antigen test is taken on day 7 and a negative result is confirmed.
Serbia
Serbia’s borders are now open to all travelers. Anyone arriving in Serbia must present a negative RT-PCR test, no older than 48 hours.
If there is a delay in entering the Republic of Serbia, which cannot be attributed to the passenger’s fault, but as a consequence of an external event that could not have been foreseen, avoided, or eliminated — delay of the flight, the departure of buses, trains, etc., then the test cannot be older than 72 hours when entering the Republic of Serbia. Serbian citizens and residents may enter without a RT-PCR test, but must self-quarantine for 10 days. This does not apply to Serbian citizens arriving from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Hungary, and Montenegro, and fully vaccinated Serbian citizens arriving from other countries.
Arrivals who have been vaccinated in the following countries are also exempt from the testing requirements: GREECE, HUNGARY, ROMANIA, SLOVENIA*, TURKEY, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, CZECH REPUBLIC, INDIA) or with which there is de facto reciprocity in the recognition of the vaccination certificate;(CROATIA, SLOVAKIA, GEORGIA, MOROCCO, CYPRUS, LEBANON, MOLDOVA, SAN MARINO, TUNISIA, ARMENIA, EGYPT, GERMANY.
All arrivals from India will be required to self-quarantine for 7 days & will be tested within 24 hours of arrival.
